Paul Wesley is a multi-award winning actor who is also a producer, director and actor. Most famously, he is known for his role as Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. He has been recognized with numerous nominations and awards for his work on the TV series, which include Teen Choice Awards. Born in New Brunswick New Jersey in the United States Wesley showed an enthusiasm for acting in his time in school. He then enrolled in Rutgers University. After realizing that his acting skills can lead to a lucrative career, he chose to leave. His first appearance on TV was on the cult American TV soap opera Another World. For two years his role was one of the most prominent in the CBS series Wolf Lake. His career was at its turning moment when he began playing the character of Stefan Salvatore, in the famous American television series The Vampire Diaries. He also directed a few episodes in the series as well. Since his debut in The Last Run, he's been in numerous famous films. Recently, he was seen in the film Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting character. He's also pretty popular on social networks with more than 13 million followers on Instagram and 4.1 million followers on Twitter.
